Financial Aid
For a general breakdown of the cost of attending a graduate program at KU, please see the 2006-07 Cost of Attendance compiled by the Office of Student Financial Aid.
Most students admitted to the Applied Behavioral Science department are given some form of financial
assistance. How much assistance you receive depends on which professor you chose to work with at KU.
Before applying, you will need to decide with which professor you wish to work. Information that can help you make
this decision is provided in the Faculty section. Once you decide, you should
contact that professor and determine if he/she will be recruiting students and if he/she will be able to
provide financial assistance.
Incoming students are encouraged to apply for internal
scholarships and established students are encouraged to apply for extramural pre-doctoral research
fellowships. Minority applicants should know that KU has scholarships and fellowships which are available
to help to cover the expenses of completing graduate school.
